TIP:
IF you have one of those apple peeler slicers, go ahead and
use it on the apples but since it makes smaller pieces cut
the time in half in the microwave and then add in 30 second
increments as needed until you get to the consistency you
like.

Falling
leaves bring fall favorites. Seeing the colors change makes me start
to think of things to cook in the oven instead of on the grill.
I start to long for simmering stews and soups. I want the kind of
dinner that makes the whole house smell great and really gets you
hungry in anticipation of a wonderful meal.
Pork loin is
a great choice for a fall meal. And a perfect accompaniment to pork
is apples. They are at their best right now. Why not some 10 minute
applesauce to go with a pork loin that has been roasted with a glaze
of balsamic and rosemary? For your green vegetable side, convert
your family to brussels sprout lovers with a tasty recipe for brussels
sprouts that combines them with bacon and apples again.
